Photos

Photos you open in the tool are processed in your browser on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Cookies and visit statistics

We set no cookies and use no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not build a profile of you: it records the page address, the referring page, the browser type, the country and page load times. If the site or the tool hits a script error, your browser sends us the error message, the script file and the page path (no photo, no purchase code, no email), which we keep in our server logs for troubleshooting. The site stores your colour theme in your browser's local storage. After a purchase, the tool also stores what it needs to recognise the purchase on that device [OWNER: confirm against the checkout Worker].

Purchases

When you buy, we collect your email address (from PayPal) and your country. We use them to deliver and restore your purchase, to handle refunds and to meet tax rules (the country decides which VAT rules apply; the price is the same everywhere). As evidence of your country for tax purposes we also record the country of your PayPal account, the country of your billing or shipping address and the issuing country of your card (when PayPal provides them), and the country your connection comes from, as reported by Cloudflare; we do not store your IP address. We also record the fee PayPal charges us for the payment. If you are in the EU, we also store that you asked for immediate access and acknowledged losing the 14-day withdrawal right. Your licence code is shown on screen after payment; we store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of it. PayPal sends the payment receipt. Payment is handled by PayPal, which processes your payment details under its own privacy statement; we never see card numbers. We keep purchase records for as long as tax law requires [OWNER: retention period required by the tax law that applies].

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the service. We do not receive or store access logs with personal data [OWNER: confirm Cloudflare log settings].

Children

The site can be used by children. It has no accounts for pupils, no tracking, no ads and no way to publish content. Purchases are for adults (parents, teachers, schools).

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your purchase data, and you can complain to your data protection authority [OWNER: name of the lead supervisory authority]. Email hello@seelikeanimals.com.
